Classic Skin Mesotherapy
Vitamins Delivered Where They Work. Mesotherapy delivers a tailored cocktail of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and hyaluronic acid directly into the mesoderm.
Service Description
WHAT IT IS Mesotherapy delivers a tailored cocktail of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and hyaluronic acid directly into the mesoderm — the middle layer of the skin — through a series of very fine micro-injections across the treatment area. WHY PEOPLE CHOOSE IT Topical products face a genuine problem: the skin barrier exists precisely to keep things out, and most active ingredients never reach the layer where they would do the work. Injecting past the barrier delivers the actives where the fibroblasts actually are. WHAT WE AIM FOR Better-nourished, brighter, more hydrated skin with improved tone and texture, built up across a course rather than in one session. WHO IT SUITS · Dull, tired, undernourished skin · Loss of radiance and even tone · Wanting a non-invasive skin health treatment · Skin affected by stress, smoking or poor sleep · Maintenance between more substantial treatments TREATMENT DETAILS Appointment: 30–45 minutes Discomfort: Numbing cream applied; multiple fine injections Downtime: Redness and small bumps for a few hours First results: After 2–3 sessions Sessions: Course of 4–6, two to four weeks apart Maintenance: Every 3–6 months Course of 3 available: £399 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Is this the same as a vampire facial? No. A vampire facial (PRP) uses your own platelet-rich plasma. Mesotherapy uses a prepared cocktail of vitamins and actives. Both improve skin quality by different routes and can be combined. How many sessions will I need? Mesotherapy is a course treatment — a single session produces very little. Most protocols run to four to six sessions, two to four weeks apart, followed by maintenance every few months. Dr Selvi will set out your schedule at consultation. Does it hurt? Numbing cream is applied first and most patients tolerate it well. You will feel multiple small pinpricks across the area; it is brief and finishes quickly. What does it look like afterwards? Expect redness and small raised bumps at the injection points for a few hours, occasionally into the next day. Small bruises are possible. Avoid make-up for 12 hours. Can I go straight back to work? Usually yes, though you may prefer to book it for later in the day if you would rather the redness had settled before being seen. What are the risks? Redness, small bumps, bruising and short-lived tenderness are common. Infection is rare with proper technique and aftercare. All risks are explained before you consent. Who will treat me? All injectable treatments at Dr Selvi Clinic are carried out by a doctor, following a face-to-face consultation and an assessment of your suitability. BOOKING Book online, or start with a free initial consultation if you are unsure which treatment is right for you. Prices are a guide and may vary according to your personalised treatment plan.
