Service Description

WHAT IT IS A mesotherapy cocktail formulated for the periorbital area and delivered in tiny amounts into the thin skin around the eyes, targeting dark circles, puffiness and fine lines through improved hydration and microcirculation. WHY PEOPLE CHOOSE IT The under-eye is thin, poorly vascularised and the first place fatigue shows. Improving circulation and hydration in the tissue itself addresses the causes of darkness and dullness rather than covering them. WHAT WE AIM FOR Brighter, better-hydrated under-eye skin with softened fine lines and reduced dullness, built across a course. WHO IT SUITS · Dark circles and under-eye dullness · Fine lines and crepiness around the eyes · Puffiness related to fluid and circulation · Wanting a gentle, non-volumising eye treatment TREATMENT DETAILS Appointment: 20–30 minutes Discomfort: Numbing cream applied Downtime: Redness and small bumps; bruising possible First results: After 2–3 sessions Sessions: Course of 4–6, two weeks apart Maintenance: Every 3–6 months FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Will it remove my dark circles completely? Rarely completely. Where darkness comes from poor circulation and thin skin the improvement can be marked; where it comes from pigmentation or from a hollow casting a shadow, other treatments are more appropriate. Dr Selvi will identify which cause applies to you first. Is bruising likely here? More likely than elsewhere on the face, because the skin is thin and the area is vascular. Small bruises settle within a week — do not book this immediately before an event. How many sessions will I need? Mesotherapy is a course treatment — a single session produces very little. Most protocols run to four to six sessions, two to four weeks apart, followed by maintenance every few months. Dr Selvi will set out your schedule at consultation. Does it hurt? Numbing cream is applied first and most patients tolerate it well. You will feel multiple small pinpricks across the area; it is brief and finishes quickly. What does it look like afterwards? Expect redness and small raised bumps at the injection points for a few hours, occasionally into the next day. Small bruises are possible. Avoid make-up for 12 hours. Can I go straight back to work? Usually yes, though you may prefer to book it for later in the day if you would rather the redness had settled before being seen. What are the risks? Redness, small bumps, bruising and short-lived tenderness are common. Infection is rare with proper technique and aftercare. All risks are explained before you consent. Who will treat me? All injectable treatments at Dr Selvi Clinic are carried out by a doctor, following a face-to-face consultation and an assessment of your suitability. BOOKING Book online, or start with the free 15-minute initial consultation if you are unsure which treatment is right for you. Prices are a guide and may vary according to your personalised treatment plan.
