At least three months, ideally four. The result builds gradually and you want it at its peak on the day, not still developing. Is a two-hour session tolerable? Yes. The sensation comes in brief pulses rather than continuously, and we break the session into stages with rest between areas. Is it painful? Most patients describe brief waves of heat or a deep prickling sensation as the energy is delivered. It is manageable without anaesthetic, and it stops the moment the applicator lifts. Bony areas such as the jawline and forehead are the most sensitive. How soon will I see a result?
