Jalupro Amino Acid Mesotherapy
Collagen's Building Blocks, Delivered. A mesotherapy protocol using Jalupro, which combines hyaluronic acid with the specific amino acids your fibroblasts need to synthesise collagen.
Service Description
WHAT IT IS A mesotherapy protocol using Jalupro, which combines hyaluronic acid with the specific amino acids your fibroblasts need to synthesise collagen — glycine, L-proline, L-leucine and L-lysine — placed directly into the dermis. WHY PEOPLE CHOOSE IT Supplying the raw material rather than only the hydration means the skin has what it needs to rebuild. It suits skin that is not just dehydrated but genuinely depleted — after significant weight loss, after illness, or in long-term smokers. WHAT WE AIM FOR Firmer, better-nourished skin with improved elasticity and texture, and a genuine structural improvement rather than surface hydration alone. WHO IT SUITS · Depleted, thin or crepey skin · Post-weight-loss skin quality · Smokers and skin affected by lifestyle · Preparing skin before other treatments · Neck, décolletage and hands as well as face TREATMENT DETAILS Appointment: 30–45 minutes Discomfort: Numbing cream applied Downtime: Redness and small bumps for a few hours First results: After 2–3 sessions Sessions: Course of 4, one to two weeks apart Maintenance: Every 6 months FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS How is this different from Jalupro Super Hydro? Same family, different emphasis. Super Hydro is weighted toward hydration with a higher hyaluronic acid content; the amino acid mesotherapy protocol focuses on supplying collagen building blocks across a course. Dr Selvi will advise which suits your skin. How many sessions will I need? Mesotherapy is a course treatment — a single session produces very little. Most protocols run to four to six sessions, two to four weeks apart, followed by maintenance every few months. Dr Selvi will set out your schedule at consultation. Does it hurt? Numbing cream is applied first and most patients tolerate it well. You will feel multiple small pinpricks across the area; it is brief and finishes quickly. What does it look like afterwards? Expect redness and small raised bumps at the injection points for a few hours, occasionally into the next day. Small bruises are possible. Avoid make-up for 12 hours. Can I go straight back to work? Usually yes, though you may prefer to book it for later in the day if you would rather the redness had settled before being seen. What are the risks? Redness, small bumps, bruising and short-lived tenderness are common. Infection is rare with proper technique and aftercare. All risks are explained before you consent. Who will treat me? All injectable treatments at Dr Selvi Clinic are carried out by a doctor, following a face-to-face consultation and an assessment of your suitability. BOOKING Book online, or start with the free 15-minute initial consultation if you are unsure which treatment is right for you. Prices are a guide and may vary according to your personalised treatment plan.
