Service Description

WHAT IT IS Lumi Eyes is a polynucleotide-based injectable formulated specifically for the delicate skin around the eyes. Polynucleotides are DNA fragments, usually of salmon origin, that support tissue repair, hydration and microcirculation in the treated area. WHY PEOPLE CHOOSE IT The under-eye is thin, mobile and unforgiving, and filler there frequently causes more problems than it solves. Lumi Eyes improves the skin itself — texture, thickness and circulation — without adding any volume, which makes it a far safer starting point. WHAT WE AIM FOR Brighter, better-quality under-eye skin with improved texture and reduced dullness, and no risk of the puffiness that filler in this area can cause. WHO IT SUITS · Dark circles with a skin-quality component · Fine crepey lines under the eyes · Wanting to avoid under-eye filler · Thin, dull skin around the eyes · A cautious first treatment in this area TREATMENT DETAILS Appointment: 20–30 minutes Discomfort: Numbing cream applied Downtime: Small bumps for a few hours; bruising possible First results: 2–3 weeks Sessions: Course of 3–4, two weeks apart Duration: 6 months FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Will it get rid of my dark circles? It depends on the cause. Where darkness comes from thin skin and poor circulation, the improvement can be significant. Where it comes from a hollow casting a shadow, or from pigmentation, this will help less — and Dr Selvi will tell you which you have before you spend anything. Is it safer than under-eye filler? It carries a lower risk profile because it does not add volume and does not persist as a gel in the tissue. For many patients it is the more sensible first step. Will this change the shape of my face? No. Skin boosters are not fillers — they hydrate and improve the quality of the skin rather than adding contour or volume. Your proportions stay exactly as they are. Will there be visible bumps afterwards? Small raised areas at the injection points are normal with several of these treatments and usually settle within 24 hours. Plan around anything important the following day. How often do I need to repeat it? Most skin boosters follow an initial course, then maintenance every six to twelve months. Dr Selvi will set out your specific schedule at consultation. Can I combine it with other treatments? Yes. Skin boosters address skin quality, while fillers address volume and anti-wrinkle injections address movement lines. They target different problems and are frequently planned together. What are the risks? Injection-site redness, small bumps, swelling and occasional bruising are common and short-lived. More significant reactions are uncommon. Dr Selvi will explain all risks fully before you consent. Who will treat me? All injectable treatments at Dr Selvi Clinic are carried out by a doctor, following a face-to-face consultation and an assessment of your suitability.
