Service Description

WHAT IT IS NAD+ is a coenzyme present in every cell, central to energy production and DNA repair, and it declines steadily with age. Delivered into the skin, it aims to support cellular energy and repair processes in the dermis directly. WHY PEOPLE CHOOSE IT It works at a different level from hydration or collagen products — targeting cellular function rather than structure. Patients interested in longevity and regenerative approaches are increasingly drawn to it. WHAT WE AIM FOR Improved skin vitality, tone and radiance through support of cellular repair processes, alongside the hydration benefits of the delivery. WHO IT SUITS · Interest in regenerative and longevity approaches · Dull, fatigued-looking skin · Combining with other skin-quality treatments · Skin showing the effects of stress or lifestyle TREATMENT DETAILS Appointment: 30–45 minutes Discomfort: Numbing cream applied Downtime: Minimal; small bumps possible First results: 2–4 weeks Sessions: Course of 3 recommended Duration: 6 months Also available as: IV NAD+ Infusion — £349 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Is the evidence as strong as for hyaluronic acid? No, and it is fair to say so. Hyaluronic acid boosters have a much longer and larger clinical record. NAD+ skin treatment is a newer, more experimental area, and Dr Selvi will discuss the current state of the evidence honestly rather than overstating it. Should I have the injection or the IV infusion? They serve different purposes. The skin booster targets the dermis locally; the IV infusion is a systemic wellness treatment. They are not substitutes for one another. Will this change the shape of my face? No. Skin boosters are not fillers — they hydrate and improve the quality of the skin rather than adding contour or volume. Your proportions stay exactly as they are. Will there be visible bumps afterwards? Small raised areas at the injection points are normal with several of these treatments and usually settle within 24 hours. Plan around anything important the following day. How often do I need to repeat it? Most skin boosters follow an initial course, then maintenance every six to twelve months. Dr Selvi will set out your specific schedule at consultation. Can I combine it with other treatments? Yes. Skin boosters address skin quality, while fillers address volume and anti-wrinkle injections address movement lines. They target different problems and are frequently planned together. What are the risks? Injection-site redness, small bumps, swelling and occasional bruising are common and short-lived. More significant reactions are uncommon. Dr Selvi will explain all risks fully before you consent. Who will treat me? All injectable treatments at Dr Selvi Clinic are carried out by a doctor, following a face-to-face consultation and an assessment of your suitability. BOOKING Book online, or start with the free 15-minute initial consultation if you are unsure which treatment is right for you.
